- Year 4: Gospel Rock
- Year 5: African Drumming
- Year 6: Samba Drumming
Throughout the week, pupils across all year groups explored a wide range of art forms and had the chance to share their work with their buddy classes. We also tuned in to exciting live-streamed lessons led by some of the UK’s most inspirational creatives, including Darcey Bussell, Fleur East, George the Poet, Will Sliney and the cast of Wicked!
Why Do the Arts Matter?
As Picasso once said, “Every child is an artist.”
Creative activities are about more than just having fun they play a vital role in helping children to:
✅ Express themselves
✅ Build confidence
✅ Develop communication and teamwork skills
✅ Strengthen problem-solving and critical thinking
✅ Shape their identity and values
We are so proud of all our pupils and the amazing work they have produced this week. Keep an eye on our social media pages for photos and videos celebrating their achievements!
