2TD

Welcome to the class page for 2TD. Miss Donoghue is the class teacher, and Mrs Gillespie is the class LSA. Mrs McEgan covers the class on Tuesday, and Mrs Bennett covers for Mrs Gillespie on a Wednesday.

Homework is sent home each week on a Friday.  English or Maths is sent home on a Friday. This is just to reinforce the learning children have done during the week. It is not compulsory to do this, but children are encouraged to complete homework to consolidate understanding.

Spellings will be sent home at the beginning of each term, and weekly spelling sheets are sent home for children to complete. Pupils will have a weekly spelling test on a Friday.

Reading books are changed each Friday and sent home.  Pupils are expected to bring in their reading book every day, so that they can practise reading during the day at their level.

PE days are on Mondays and Thursdays.  Children should bring a change of pumps.
