Primary Drug and Alcohol Education

At Thatto Heath Primary school, we deliver CWP Drug and Education to years 5 and 6. As an
important aspect of the curriculum, these lessons aim to develop knowledge and
understanding and to clarify any misconceptions. Lessons also develop pupils’ personal and
social skills helping them to make informed decisions and keep themselves safe and healthy.
Pupils also explore their own and other people’s attitudes towards drugs, drug use and drug
users.
The lessons underpin the Healthy and Safe aspects of our Heart Curriculum.
