The School Day

We have now moved to  a single start and end time for all pupils across
school (Reception to Year 6):

Gate Opens: 8:35am (Year 1 and above walk straight in)

Start Time: 8:45am

End Time: 3:15pm

This system is being introduced to:

• Simplify routines for families (especially those with siblings)
• Improve the accuracy of lateness tracking
• Promote punctuality and support our “Beat the Gate – Don’t Be Late” drive

Butterflies will also move to these new times in line with the rest of school.

Change for Year 4 Pupils

From September, Year 4 pupils will arrive and leave via the Year 6 entrance. This will ease congestion on the playground.

Little Hearts Nursery and Little Hearts Pre-School

From September, parents will be expected to drop off and collect their children promptly at the session times below:

• Morning session: 8:40am – 11:40am
• Afternoon session: 12:25pm – 3:25pm

This will support safeguarding, ensure smooth transitions and align routines more closely across the school.
