Thank you to those parents who are helping our School to apply for the funds to which it is entitled to support your child’s education. Please do not forget to register for Free School Meals even though your child is entitled to a meal under the Universal Free Meal Scheme and may not take up the offer of the meal.
By applying for Free School Meals you will be helping the school budget, as it is very much affected by the number of pupils entitled. Being in receipt of Free School Meals means you will NOT need to pay for your child’s school milk each year and will ensure other benefits.
You can register for free school meals if you are in receipt of the following benefits:
- Income Support
- Income Based Job Seekers Allowance
- Income Related Employment
- Support Allowance
- Support from National Asylum Support Service
- The guarantee element of the State Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit (with no working tax credit) with an annual income of more than £16,190.
