Welcome to 5KY!

Our Year 5 class is taught by Mrs. Yearsley who is a member of the maths team at our school. Mrs Bennett and Coach Callum teach our class on Tuesday mornings.  The class is supported by Mrs Harris. 

Our PE days are Tuesdays and Fridays. 

Children are expected to learn a set of times tables each week for a test on a Friday and to complete weekly spelling pyramids.  The children are also expected to read at home at least 3 times a week and to record this in their Reading Comments books; please ensure these books are sent into school each day to be checked so the children can work towards the steps on the Reading Rainbow.

There is also optional project homework which is themed around one of the topics we are studying. 

TT Rockstars tournaments will also be set weekly; it is important the children access these games regularly.
