World Nursery Rhyme Week at Thatto Heath

This week our youngest pupils in Little Hearts 2-Year-Old Nursery, Pre-School and Reception have been taking part in World Nursery Rhyme Week, a wonderful celebration of language, rhythm and early learning.

Each day the children enjoyed joining in with a new rhyme as part of the ‘Rhyme A Day Challenge’, featuring favourites such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Old MacDonald Had a Farm, The Big Ship Sails, Incy Wincy Spider and Five Currant Buns.

Children took part in singing sessions, creative crafts, role play and sensory activities linked to each rhyme.
