VE Day 80th Anniversary – 8th May
Children are invited to wear red, white, and blue or WWII-themed clothes. A £2 donation can be made via ParentPay. Children will receive a Union Jack hat, handheld flag and a commemorative bookmark.
Children will have a whole-school street party lunch in the afternoon.
As part of our celebrations, we are creating a ‘Wall of Remembrance’ to honour the heroes of WWII. If you have any photos or stories of family members who served or lived through the war, please send a copy into school or email them to the office so we can include them in our display.
