The children absolutely loved the Walt Disney theme. From classic characters like Mickey and Cinderella to modern heroes like Moana and Mirabel, we explored how Disney heroes and heroines have changed over time. We learned how earlier characters often waited to be rescued, while more recent ones show bravery, independence and teamwork. Pupils also enjoyed Disney-inspired crafts, quizzes and performances, all while reflecting on what makes a true hero.

On Tuesday, our EYFS department marked World Bee Day 🐝. Pupils learned about the vital role bees play in pollination and how they help our ecosystems thrive. We talked about what we can do to protect them – from planting bee-friendly flowers to reducing our use of harmful pesticides.

Also, our Year 6 pupils took part in Bikeability, developing essential road safety skills and gaining confidence when cycling. Well done to all involved!

We hope you have a lovely Whit holiday and enjoy some well-earned rest. We are looking forward to welcoming all our pupils back on Wednesday 4th June.

Have a brilliant break!
