Welcome Back After Christmas!
It has been wonderful to be back with the pupils this week, ready to kick off an exciting new term. Thank you for your support during what has been a challenging week due to the snow and icy conditions.
We have launched our whole-school Shakespeare-themed month with excitement and creativity. Each year group is exploring a unique Shakespeare-inspired focus:
- EYFS – Romeosaurus and Juliet Rex
- Year 1 – A Midsummer Night’s Dream
- Year 2 – The Tempest
- Year 3 – The Merchant of Venice
- Year 4 – Julius Caesar
- Year 5 – Bold and Brave Women from Shakespeare
- Year 6 – Poetry for Kids: William Shakespeare
The junior classes have already enjoyed workshops with the Shakespeare North Playhouse this week, bringing Shakespeare’s works to life in exciting ways
