This Week
It has been wonderful to welcome everyone back to school after the half-term break! Thank you to all who submitted entries for our pumpkin carving competition—each one was fantastic. The winner receiving the most likes was Emily Dean.
Congratulations!
Here are all the entries –
Our school staff had a very productive training day on Monday. We continued our work through the Autism in Schools programme and our Therapeutic Schools Approach.
In EYFS this week the children enjoyed making firework crafts to celebrate Bonfire Night.

Class 5KOB and 5DB visited Thatto Heath Library this week and additional visits for upper Key Stage 2 are scheduled for next week. These visits will focus on Remembrance Day.
Thank you to the parents who attended our reading workshops this week—the second in a series of workshops designed for Reception and Year 1 parents.
Project homework tasks have been distributed to each year group today. You may notice that QR codes have been added to the overviews, which link to virtual reality experiences that can be enjoyed from a phone or tablet.
Finally, the curriculum overviews for this term are now available on our website. Here, you will find details about what your child will be studying over the coming weeks.
