Happy Last Day of School
We have had a fantastic final two days of term. The ice lollies and picnic were very well received and were the perfect way to celebrate all the children’s hard work this year.
It was especially emotional as we said goodbye to our amazing Year 6 pupils. Yesterday’s leavers’ party was full of fun, laughter and a few tears. This morning they gave a wonderful final performance for their families.

A big well done to all of our Year 6 award winners. You have made us very proud. You have shown such resilience, kindness and determination over the years and we are confident that you will carry those qualities with you as you move on to your new schools. We wish you the very best of luck in everything you do, and we hope you will come back to tell us how you are getting on.
We are also sad to say goodbye to three of our valued staff members.
Mrs C. Gerrard is retiring after an incredible 28 years of service at Thatto Heath. She has been part of our school community since 1997 and we are deeply grateful for her dedication, care and commitment to generations of pupils.
Mrs C. Higham will be leaving her role as Attendance Officer to take up an exciting new position as Pastoral Leader at De La Salle. This is a fantastic opportunity and we wish her every success in her new role.
Miss Bennett will also be leaving her position as Learning Support Assistant, having successfully qualified as a class teacher. We are delighted that she will continue to be part of our team in her new teaching role from September.
Finally, thank you to all our families for your continued support throughout the year. Your kind words, thoughtful cards and generous gifts mean so much to our staff.
We wish you all a relaxing and sunshine-filled summer.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Thursday 4th September.
